Good news for foodies! Following last year’s incredibly successful venture, Jimmy’s Underground Pop Up Restaurant is returning to Clapham for limited time. Jimmy Garcia, who has been hosting supper clubs and pop-ups in recent years, will be bringing his culinary delights to the DVine Cellars on selected dates in May through to July. The 2013 event saw a four-week waiting list and all dates sold out across a three-month run.

The basement beneath DVine Cellars will be transformed into an immersive 25-seat pop-up restaurant serving two bespoke dining nights. Burger fans will love the ‘Burgers and Bordeaux’ nights on Thursdays, while those with a big appetite better leave some room for the ‘Signature Ethically Sourced 5 Course Menu’ on Fridays and Saturdays.

Diners can choose their own wine from the wide range on sale at DVine wines upstairs before bringing it to their table to be served with their meal.

The ‘Burgers & Bordeaux’ nights on Thursdays are expected to start with Smoked Mac and Cheese followed by a choice of Duck or Lobster burger for main, half a bottle of Bordeaux and Jimmy’s now infamous ‘Home Made Ice Cream Factory’ Dessert.

Meanwhile, weekenders sampling the ‘Ethically Sourced 5 Course Menu’ on Fridays and Saturdays will be treated to some food theatre, with an open make shift kitchen, smoking guns, and surprise courses.

  • Jimmy’s Bookings available on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 8 May until the end of July at 7.30pm for an 8pm sitting. All menus are £30. Bookings must be done in advance. DVine Cellars, 74 Landor Road, Clapham, SW9 9PH. Nearest tube: Clapham North. For booking and further information, visit Jimmys Pop Up website.
